隋建国是中国最重要的当代艺术家之一，他的艺术实践从学院现实主义传统中汲取能量，并能不断突破和超越传统的制约。从塑造实物到讨论物体的存现，从而建立情感表达的途径，隋建国为中国的雕塑实践开拓了一片新领域。

此次展览，展出的不仅有隋建国早年的代表作，也有其近年新作，融合多种元素，将给观众呈现一个崭新的、同时具有多种可能性的视觉空间。

Sui Jianguo is one of the most important contemporary artists, hisart practice absorbs energy from academic realism and breaks thetradition limits. From shaping the physical material to discussing theexistence of the abstraction, he sets up a new emotion expressionway, and expands a new field in Chinese sculpture practice.

Sui Jiangguo’s solo exhibition in Today Art Museum will display hisrepresentative works and also his new created works. This will be abrand-new exhibition with many elements and many possibilities.
